Inventory

The Inventory section of the WMS module provides detailed insights into the available quantities of inbound shipments currently in the storage stage.

  1. Navigate to Inventory in the left sidebar.

  2. You will see the list of inbound shipments there.

This section displays the quantities of products that are in the storage stage. The available quantities are updated in real-time, allowing for accurate inventory management and planning.

Tabs: What You Need to Know

Each tab within the Inventory section provides specific information and functionalities. Here's a detailed explanation of all the tabs:

  1. Product: Displays the names and details of each product.

  2. SKU: Lists the Stock Keeping Units for easy identification and tracking.

  3. Stock Quantity: Shows the available quantities for each product.

  4. Weight: Provides the weight of each product, useful for handling and shipping purposes.

  5. Measurement: Displays the measurements of each product for space management.

  6. Expiry Date: Indicates the expiry dates of perishable products to ensure timely usage.

  7. Location: Shows the storage location of each product within the warehouse.

  8. WH Reference: Lists all warehouse reference numbers associated with the inbound shipments.

  9. Storage Start Date: Displays the dates when each product was stored, helping to track inventory age.

  10. Days on Inventory: Shows the number of days items have been in inventory, aiding in inventory turnover analysis.

  11. Customer: Displays customer-related information for each inbound shipment, facilitating order fulfilment and customer service.

External Link - WH Reference Number

Each inbound shipment under the WH Reference tab includes an external link. By clicking on the WH Reference number, users can open the inbound shipment details in an external window, allowing for a more detailed and focused view.
