Configuring Shipment Reference number

How to configure shipment number?

To configure shipment number in frieght module of CargoEZ,

1. Go to in the left side.

2. Select Notification.

3. Under General Settings,click Summary & Notifications.

4. It will prompt to Shipment Reference Number window.

Shipment Reference Setting:

1. Shipment Reference Number Format:

   • The reference number format begins with the prefix "CEZS," followed by the placeholder for the year (denoted as {{YY}}).

   • Users can optionally add a suffix to the reference number if needed.

2. Restart Sequence:

   • The reference number sequence restarts every year to maintain consistency and organization.

3. Next Number:

   • The next available reference number in the sequence is 137. This number is automatically incremented for each new shipment.

4. Pad With Zero:

   • The reference number is padded with zeros to ensure a consistent number of digits. In this case, it is padded to four digits.

5. Timezone:

   • The timezone for reference number generation is set to America/Boise to align with local time conventions.

These settings ensure that each shipment is assigned a unique and easily identifiable reference number, facilitating efficient tracking and management.
