Lead stages in the Lead module serve as checkpoints, tracking the journey of leads from initial contact to conversion. They help prioritize and manage sales efforts, ensuring leads progress smoothly through the sales pipeline.
In CargoEZ, we utilize a series of stages to manage our processes effectively. Let's explore each stage in detail.
New: Leads at this stage are newly identified and have not been contacted yet.
Contacted: Leads have been contacted and initial communication has been established.
Interested: Leads have shown interest in the product or service offered.
Quoted: A formal quote or proposal has been submitted to the leads.
Negotiation: Customizing terms to align perfectly with the requirements.
Approved: Lead is approved.
Navigate to the lead file you wish to edit the lead stages.
Depending on the current stage of the lead, select the appropriate stage to update it accordingly.
By default, the lead stage will be set to New.
For instance, if a rate has been requested for the lead, click on the Rate Requested stage.
This action will trigger a confirmation window to appear, ensuring you want to proceed with the stage change.
Confirm by clicking Yes, and the lead stage will be successfully modified.
A Warning screen will appear, seeking confirmation for the lead to be changed to a shipment.
Upon selecting Yes, the lead will be converted to a shipment, and it will be marked as won.
It will prompt to Mark Lost window, Fill out the details of the Due to, Reason, Closing Date.
Click Save button.
To mark a lead as won, certain prerequisites must be met:
Simply click on the icon located at the end of the lead stages.
In certain situations, the lead may not proceed to the shipment stage. In such cases, we mark the lead as lost. It helps keep the lead management process organized by clearly distinguishing between active, won, and lost leads.
