Air Booking
Airbooking is key to arranging flights for cargo. It involves booking space on a plane, detailing the shipment needs, and working with airlines for prompt and efficient service.
You can make a booking through one of two available methods.
Creating Bookings Directly
To create bookings directly, follow the steps outlined below:
Click the
Booking menu in the Side bar.
Click on the designated button
located in the top right corner.
Upon opening, a dialog box will appear, presenting three choices:
Sea Booking
Air Booking
Request Sea Booking
Select Air Booking, then enter the necessary information as outlined in the Air Booking Details.
After entering all the necessary details at each stage, click the Create button to complete the Air Booking process.
Creating Bookings Within an Existing Shipment
To create bookings within an existing shipment, follow the steps outlined below:
Just go to the shipment file to which you have to create a new Air Booking.
Navigate to the
Booking Tab, click
, this action will open the corresponding booking window.
Enter the necessary information as outlined in the Air Booking Details.
After entering all the necessary details at each stage, click the Create button to complete the Air Booking process.
The booking will be generated and shown in the interface.
Booking Attachment
You can effortlessly attach a booking to a shipment or vice versa using the following steps:
Attachment Process:
Via Shipments: Begin by navigating to the specific shipment requiring booking attachment.
Access Booking Tab: Click on the Booking tab within the shipment interface.
Enter Booking Number: In the provided booking number selection box, input the relevant booking number.
Attachment Confirmation: Once entered, the booking number will be displayed, indicating successful attachment.
Detachment and Other Actions:
To perform any of the following actions, locate the specific booking within the bookings overview, then click on the adjacent settings button associated with that booking.
Detach Booking: To detach a booking, select Detach. Confirm on the warning screen by clicking Detach Booking.
View Booking: Gain insights into booking details by selecting the View Booking option.
Edit Booking: Modify booking information as necessary using the Edit Booking feature.
Cancel Booking: Cancel a booking if required, utilizing the Cancel Booking function.
Duplicate Booking: To duplicate a booking, select Duplicate. This action will open a new booking window with pre-filled details.
These streamlined procedures ensure seamless management of bookings within the shipment workflow.
