Work Orders

The Work Order feature in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) facilitates the efficient allocation and management of tasks within the warehouse environment.

Add Work Order

  1. Go to the Inbound section in the left sidebar.

  2. Select the specific inbound shipment.

  3. Navigate to the Work Orders tab.

  4. Click on the + Add Work Order button.

  5. Enter all required details for the work order. Refer Work Order details.

  6. Click the Save button to finalize and store the work order information.

Work Order Details

Field
Description

Work Order Name

Unique identifier or name for the work order.

Work Order Type

Category or type of work to be performed.

Assigned To

Employee or team assigned to the task.

Due Date

Deadline for completing the work order.

Location

Specific warehouse area for the task.

Equipment Assigned

Tools or equipment designated for the task.

Priority

Urgency level of the task.

Status

Current stage of completion (e.g., New, In Progress).

Description

Additional task details or instructions.

Update Work Order

  1. Click on button next to the work order you wish to modify.

  2. Make necessary changes to the details.

  3. Click the Save button to save your updates.

Delete Work Order

  1. Click on button next to the work order you wish to delete.

  2. A warning message will appear asking, "Are you sure? Do you want to delete this work order with name?"

  3. Click Yes to confirm and delete the work order.
