Update Contact

In the CargoEZ mobile app, you can easily manage and update contact details. Follow these steps to edit contact information and access various segments related to the contact.

To update a contact:

  1. Click on the specific contact you want to edit.

  2. The contact details, including Email and Phone, will be displayed.

  3. Click the pencil icon to edit these details.

  4. To view additional information, click the appropriate icon:

    • Leads

    • Shipments

    • Notes

    • Tasks

    • Locations

    • Documents

    • KYC

    • Tags

    • Contact Details Info

    • Ports

    • About US

Each icon will take you to the respective segment.

Leads

Leads represent initial inquiries like product or pricing questions. Listing them provides insights and may lead to shipments, even though not all will.

  1. Click the Leads tab in our system.

  2. Access an extensive list comprising all leads generated from this particular contact.

  3. For visual reference, a sample screenshot is provided for your convenience.

Shipments

Dive into the Shipments tab to access a comprehensive list of all shipments associated with this contact, offering valuable insights at your fingertips!

  1. Click the Shipments tab in our system.

  2. View an extensive list comprising all Shipments generated from this particular contact.

  3. For visual reference, a sample screenshot is provided for your convenience.

Notes

In the notes tab, you can input relevant notes pertaining to this specific contact.

Add Notes

Easily add notes by accessing the Notes Tab and inputting your details.

  1. Click the Notes Tab.

  2. Input the details to be added in the Subject text box and the text box below it.

  3. Click Save button.

Update Notes

Refine your notes effortlessly to ensure they reflect the latest information.

  1. Make the necessary changes.

  2. Click the Update button.

  3. Your notes will be successfully updated.

Delete Notes

  1. This action prompts a Warning screen asking for confirmation.

  2. Click the Yes button to proceed with deletion.

  3. The notes will be removed from the system accordingly.

Task

Our platform includes a useful feature called Tasks that enables users to schedule meetings, discussions, reminders, and appointments for their contacts.

Adding Task

Easily create tasks with just a few clicks in the Task tab.

  1. Navigate to the Task tab.

  2. Click on + New Task.

  3. In the Task dialog box, select the Event Type and fill in the Subject, Due Date, Assigned To, Collaborators, and Description fields.

  4. Once completed, click the Save button to finalize the task creation.

Edit Task

Simplify task updates for improved efficiency.

  1. Navigate to the created task.

  2. It will take you to the Update Window where you can provide the necessary details to make changes.

  3. After the modification, click Save button.

Delete Task

Streamline task management with quick and easy deletion of unnecessary entries.

  1. Navigate to the created task.

  2. A Warning screen will appear, asking for confirmation before deletion.

  3. Press the Yes button to confirm and proceed with deletion.

  4. The Task details will be permanently removed from the device.

Mark as completed

Efficiently mark tasks as completed with just a few clicks.

  1. Navigate to the created task.

  2. Select the Mark as completed.

  3. A prompt will appear confirming Task Completed Successfully. Click Done.

  4. The task status will change to Completed.

Location

The contact's address includes both the billing and shipping addresses, offering a clear overview of their location details. This enhances business efficiency and saves time by ensuring accurate address information is readily available.

Add Location

Update your contact's details seamlessly by accessing the contact from your list and adding essential address information.

  1. Locate and select the desired contact from your contacts list.

  2. Click on the +New button to open a dialogue box.

  3. In the New Address screen, enter all the necessary address information.

  4. After entering the details, click the Save button to apply the changes.

Edit Address

Follow these steps to access, review, and update contact details efficiently within your contacts list.

  1. Find and select the contact you want from your contacts list.

  2. In the Edit Address window, update the necessary details.

  3. After making the changes, click the Save button to apply them.

Delete Address

Efficient management of shipping addresses is key to smooth transactions. Follow these steps to delete shipping addresses from your contact details.

  1. Locate and select the desired contact from your contacts list.

  2. A Warning screen will appear, asking for confirmation before deletion.

  3. Confirm the deletion by pressing the Yes button.

  4. The location will be permanently removed from the system.

Documents

The documents section in CargoEZ includes essential paperwork like certificates of origin, customs declarations, and insurance certificates.

Upload Documents

Easily upload and access documents with just a few clicks in the Documents tab.

  1. Locate and select the desired contact from your contacts list.

  2. Navigate to the Documents section within the contact's details.

  3. A dialog box will open where you choose the upload option and select the documents you want to upload.

  4. Once uploaded, the documents will appear in the screen for easy access and viewing.

Download Documents

Download documents effortlessly for convenient access.

  1. Find and select the desired contact from your contacts list.

  2. Go to the Documents section within the contact's details.

  3. This will initiate the download process and save the document onto your machine for access.

Rename Documents

Rename documents easily for improved organization.

  1. Locate and choose the contact you need from your contacts list.

  2. Navigate to the Documents section within the contact's details.

  3. A Rename Dialogue box will appear, allowing you to edit the document's name if necessary.

  4. After making your changes, click OK to confirm.

Delete Documents

Simplify document management by swiftly removing unnecessary files.

  1. Locate and choose the contact you need from your contacts list.

  2. Navigate to the Documents section within the contact's details.

  3. This action will prompt a Warning screen asking for confirmation before deletion.

  4. Upon confirming by pressing the Yes button, the documents will be permanently removed from the device.

Details

  1. Find and select the desired contact from your contacts list.

  2. Go to the Documents section within the contact's details.

  3. Choose the Details option to display the document's details.

KYC

KYC in CargoEZ verifies customer details to ensure compliance, minimize risk, and build trust, covering legal, financial, and operational aspects. This ensures transparency and mitigates risks effectively.

Add KYC

Add new KYC information seamlessly for enhanced data accuracy.

  1. Find and select the contact from your list.

  2. Go to the KYC section in their details.

  3. Choose + KYC.

  4. Enter the required details in the Add KYC screen.

  5. Click Save to finalize the process.

Edit KYC

Modify KYC details seamlessly to ensure accuracy and relevance.

  1. Find and select the contact from your list.

  2. Go to the KYC section in their details.

  3. This action will open Know Your Customer Details window enabling you to make any necessary adjustments to the information.

  4. After making changes, Click Save button.

Delete KYC

Simplify KYC management by swiftly removing unnecessary entries with ease.

  1. A Warning screen will appear, asking for confirmation before deletion.

  2. Press the Yes button to confirm and proceed with deletion.

  3. The KYC details will be permanently removed from the system.

Upload Document

Streamline your KYC process with seamless document uploads.

  1. This action will open a window where you can upload the necessary documents to complete the KYC process.

Tags

  1. Locate and choose the contact you need from your contacts list.

  2. Enter tags in the +Add tags field; they will appear in the dropdown.

  3. Select the tags and click Save.

Contact Details Info

  1. Locate and choose the contact you need from your contacts list.

  2. Enter the details to modify in the Source, Referred By (Email), and Relationship Manager fields.

  3. Click Save button.

Ports

  1. Locate and choose the contact you need from your contacts list.

  2. Enter airport details in the +Add ports fields under Air Ports and Ocean Ports. Select the relevant ports from the list and click Save.

Vendor Portal

The vendor portal offers centralized access to key logistics information and services. Users can obtain login credentials from vendors to track details, manage inventory, and use communication tools.

  1. You will be directed to Create Vendor Portals.

  2. Enter the Account, Status, Path, Login ID, Password, and Remarks.

  3. Click Save button.
