Shipment

In the shipment management system, customers have the ability to view, but not create shipments. The shipments section provides a comprehensive overview of all shipments, allowing customers to track and manage various aspects of their shipments efficiently.

Accessing Shipments

  1. Go to the Shipments menu.

  2. You can view the list of shipment statuses by selecting a specific shipment status.

  3. Click on the Shipment Number to view detailed activities related to the shipment.

Tabs in Shipments

The shipment section contains several tabs, each providing specific details and functionalities:

  1. Status

    • This tab displays the tracking details of the shipment based on various activities.

  2. Scope

    • Here, you can see details such as Routing, MBL/HBL numbers, Container numbers, Incoterms, etc.

    • You can also edit addresses by clicking on the Manage Pickup/Drop Address button.

    • Additional services like Customs Clearance, Insurance, and Packing/Loading Service details can be viewed and edited.

    • Update the tab with customs clearance liability for both origin and destination.

  3. Booking

    • In this tab, you can add booking details by clicking Add Booking for the nominated shipment. Refer Booking.

  4. Reports

    • In the Reports tab, you can create or update various shipment reports based on the specific requirements of each shipment.

    • Fill in all required fields of the report and Save it.

    • Approved reports can be downloaded.

    • Use the Print Preview option to view and download the relevant reports.

  1. Documents

  • The Documents tab allows you to upload, download, rename, and remove documents related to the shipment.

  1. Finance

  • In the Finance tab, you can view all approved quotations and invoices for the shipments if access is granted.
