The Receive Advance function allows you to record advance payments made by customers before the final invoice is issued. These payments can later be applied to the final invoice.
Navigate to Sales menu, click Create option in the top right corner.
Select Receive Advance option.
Fill in the necessary details for the receive advance including recipient information, preferred payment methods, and any other relevant details.
Choose from the following options:
Save as Draft: Save the receive advance as a draft for future editing.
Save and Approve: Save the receive advance and approve it for further processing.
Save and Send: Save the receive advance and send it to the customer for review.
To perform actions on receive advance, click the button next to the receive advance. This reveals a dropdown menu with options for managing the receive advance. Below are the available options
View: View the details of the receive advance without making any changes.
Edit: Make changes to the receive advance, such as updating prices, or adding/removing items.
Void: Cancel the receive advance if it's no longer needed or if there was an error in its creation.
Clone: Create a duplicate copy of the receive advance, which can be helpful if you need to create a similar receive advance for another customer or transaction.
