Profit and Loss

The Profit and Loss Report provides a detailed summary of your business's financial performance over a specific period. It includes the following components

To view this report

  1. Navigate to the left sidebar and click on Reports.

  2. Under the Business Overview section, select Profit and Loss.

  3. Choose the desired date range by selecting the start and end dates in the Dates between fields

  4. Click Run Report.

Different Components of the Report

Income

Revenue generated from your primary business activities.

Total Income

The sum of all income sources.

Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)

Direct costs attributable to the production of goods sold by your business.

Total Cost of Goods Sold

The total amount spent on producing the goods sold.

Gross Profit

The difference between Total Income and Total COGS.

Expense

Operating costs incurred in running your business.

Total Expense

The sum of all operating expenses.

Other Income

Revenue generated from non-operating activities.

Total Other Income

The sum of all other income sources.

Other Expense

Costs incurred from non-operating activities.

Total Other Expense

The sum of all other expenses.

Net Profit/Loss

The final financial outcome calculated as Gross Profit plus Total Other Income minus Total Expense and Total Other Expense.

  1. You can select any account in the report to access its detailed summary. All values are calculated based on the specified time period.

  2. You have the option to export the report in CSV, Excel, or PDF formats for convenient offline access.
