Freight Module Overview

Manage and streamline your shipment processes with the CargoEZ mobile app’s Freight module. Designed to provide comprehensive functionality without the need for creating new shipments, this module allows you to handle all aspects of your existing shipments efficiently.

View Shipments

  1. Navigate to Freight Module.

  2. View the displayed list of shipments.

Edit Shipment Details

  1. Select the relevant section from the list below.

  2. Make the necessary modifications.

  3. Click the Save button to apply your changes.

  • Routing

  • Internal

  • Commodity

  • Billing

  • Booking(View Only)

  • Parties

  • Finance

Attach Shipments

  1. Navigate to the shipment file you wish to attach.

  2. Go to the House section.

  3. Click the Attach button.

  4. Enter the file number.

  5. A confirmation warning will appear. Click Yes to proceed.

  6. The shipment will be successfully attached.

Add Notes

  1. Navigate to the shipment file where you want to add notes.

  2. Go to the Notes section.

  3. Click the + New button.

  4. Enter the details in the notes text box.

  5. Click the Save button to save your notes.

Edit Services

  1. Navigate to the shipment file where you want to add/edit services.

  2. Go to the Services section.

  3. Click the button to add details.

  4. Fill in the fields for Declared Value, Cargo Insurance, Packing Service, and Loading Service.

  5. Click Save button.

Documents

  1. Navigate to the shipment file for document management.

  2. Go to the Documents section.

  3. You’ll find two tabs: Shipments Files and Leads Files.

    • Lead-related documents for this shipment will appear under the Leads Files tab.

    • Documents uploaded directly to the shipment will appear under the Shipments Files tab.

  4. To upload a document: Click the / Upload button and select the file to upload.

  5. To manage documents:

    • To download: Click the button next to the document and choose the Download option.

    • To rename, view details, or delete: Use the same button to access these actions.

Reports

  1. Navigate to the shipment file for document management.

  2. Go to the Reports section.

  3. View the reports relavant to this shipment.

Tracking

Prerequisites for Tracking:

  1. Ensure a booking is created to enable tracking status.

Navigating to Tracking:

  1. Open the shipment file you want to track.

  2. Go to the Tracking Tab.

  3. View the shipment's tracking status.

  4. Click the Enable Tracking icon to activate tracking.

Adding Milestones:

  1. Click Tracking next to the details.

  2. Click + Add Milestone.

  3. Enter details in the following fields:

    • Title

    • Description

    • Message From

    • Milestone Location

  4. Select visibility options:

    • Visible to Public: For general visibility.

    • Choose icons for milestones if desired.

  5. Click Save.

Checklist

Adding a Checklist:

  1. Go to the Checklist section.

  2. Click the New button.

  3. Enter details for:

    • Priority

    • Subject

    • Description

    • Assigned To

    • Collaborators

    • Due Date

  4. Click Save.

Editing a Checklist:

  1. Access an existing checklist.

  2. In the Task tab:

    • Click the button.

    • Select Edit or Delete as needed.

  3. In the Comments tab:

    • Add comments as required.
