Outbound Management

The Outbound section in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) facilitates the management and processing of outbound shipments from the warehouse.

Creating Outbound Shipments

Method 1: From Inbound Shipment

1. When the inbound shipment's stage progresses to In Storage,

2. Click the Move to Outbound button to initiate outbound processing.

Method 2: Creating New Outbound Shipment

1. Navigate to the Outbound section in the left sidebar.

2. Click the + Outbound button.

3. Enter warehouse reference, customer details, and shipment type.

4. Click Search to find the inbound shipment.

5. Select the inbound shipment from results.

6. Click Release to start the outbound shipment.

7. Fill in the necessary information in the new window as specified in the Outbound Shipment Details section.

8. Click the Save to confirm.

Outbound Shipment Details

Field	Description
Date of Release	Date when the shipment is released or scheduled for release.
Nature of Goods	Description of the type or category of goods being shipped.
Weight Type	Type of weight measurement used (e.g., KGS for kilograms).
Release QTY	Quantity of goods being released or shipped.

Managing Outbound Shipment Stages

In an outbound shipment, there are three stages:

• New: Initial stage when the outbound shipment is created.

• Packing in Progress: Indicates the ongoing packing activities for the shipment.

• Dispatched: Confirms that the shipment has been dispatched from the warehouse.

Click on a stage to update the shipment's status accordingly.
