Re-Book

The Re-Book feature allows users to create a new shipment using an existing quote. This is particularly useful when you need to generate a new shipment for a customer without going through the entire quote creation process again.

Prerequisites

Before you can re-book an inquiry, ensure the following conditions are met in CargoEZ main module:

  1. Quote is Approved: The quote associated with the inquiry must be approved.

  2. Inquiry/Lead Status is Won: The inquiry must be in a "Won" status.

  3. Expiry Date is Valid: The expiry date of the quote must not be exceeded.

How Do I Re-Book an Inquiry?

To re-book an inquiry and create a new shipment using an existing quote, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Inquiries and select the inquiry you want to re-book.

  2. Go to the Details tab and scroll down to the Quotes section.

  3. Click the View button next to the quote.

  4. In the Quotation window, click on the Re-Book button. This will direct you to the Rebook Shipment Model window.

  5. Edit the details if required in the tabs provided, such as Routing, Commodity, Parties, Pickup/Drop, and Billing Info.

  6. Once done, click the Save button. The new shipment will be created.
